Mrs. Turner's Classroom

Welcome!

Vicki Turner, head teacher/principal, brings to WHAA a wealth of experience as a multi-age, multi-grade teacher. She has been enjoying the “family” atmosphere created by this type of classroom for 35+ years. She and her support staff work diligently to bring meaning to new concepts, grow skills, instill daily challenges and provide a wealth of learning opportunities that help students trust in God, grow in wisdom through His leading and develop the gifts He has freely given His children. Mrs. Turner currently teaches grades 5 and 6, as well as, monitoring highschoolers using an accredited online program. 

 

Mrs. Vicki Turner, our Head Teacher has been teaching within the Adventist educational system (both elementary and junior high) for over 35 years. All of her experience has been in multi-grade classrooms, with many years in one-room schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Southern Adventist University, Collegedale, TN. In addition, she holds two Masters Degrees in Elementary Education, which are Educational Technology/Curriculum an Development from A & M University, Huntsville, AL. Mrs. Turner also holds a Professional Certification from the denominations accredited educational system. Her enthusiasm for classroom instruction and her love of the Lord and His children echo throughout the school facility.
